Thrissur, April 21 -- District Collector Sikha Surendran has ordered a Magisterial inquiry into the massive fire that broke out at a fireworks display storage at Mundathicode, some 8 km away from Thrissur, today evening.
The collector has also ordered the sub-divisional magistrate to inquire into the cause of fire and rescue operations.
The collector said though she has the official confirmation of seven deaths, several body parts have been recovered from the surrounding areas. So the exact number of casualties could be ascertained only after DNA tests of the body parts and forensic reports.
The Disaster Response Management has already confirmed the death of 13 people and the injured are getting treatment at the medical college hospital....
