Palakkad, March 29 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here today to campaign for BJP-led National Democratic Allaince (NDA)'s candidates, ahead of the April 9 assembly elections.
The Prime Minister landed at Coimbatore Airport and reached Mercy College ground by helicopter around 0210 PM. From there, he led a road show to Fort ground, drawing large crowds despite the summer heat from BM school to SBI junction near Fort ground.
Modi addressed a public gathering at Fort Ground around 0230 PM, with thousands in attendance.
