Kasaragod, March 31 -- Despite his advanced age, the oldest voter in Kasaragod district of Northern Kerala cast his vote with undiminished enthusiasm for democracy today, ahead of the April 9 Assembly elections scheduled in Kerala.
Engappu Naik, aged 106, exercised his franchise through the "home voting" system set up by the Election Commission.
A registered voter at polling booth number 121 in Panathady village in the Kanhangad assembly constituency, Naik has consistently participated in every election over the years.
