Hyderabad, Sept. 4 -- Khairatabad District Congress president Motha Rohith Mudiraj on Friday led a rally from Gandhi Bhavan to Gun Park to protest against former Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao.
As part of the protest, Congress leaders erected a large cutout depicting KCR as Kumbhakarna, alleging that he had remained away from the people and their problems.
Speaking on the occasion, Congress leaders alleged that KCR had confined himself to his farmhouse and had been in "deep slumber" for nearly a thousand days without addressing public issues. They demanded that KCR resign from his MLA post if he was unwilling to remain accessible to the people.
