Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 22 -- AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal has strongly opposed the Railway Board's decision to shift key areas, including Mangaluru Central, from the Palakkad railway division to the Mysuru division without holding any discussion with the Kerala government.
Describing the move as highly objectionable and a major setback for Kerala during the Onam season, Venugopal said he had held an urgent discussion with union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and conveyed his strong protest against the decision.
