Tirupati, March 5 -- Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Thursday said that truth had prevailed after the court discharged the case filed against her and expressed gratitude to supporters who stood by her during the past four years.
Speaking to the media at Renigunta Airport, the Telangana Jagruti president said a false case had been filed against her and she was subjected to harassment for four years. However, she said justice ultimately prevailed as the court discharged the case.
Kavitha said she and her family have deep faith in Lord Venkateswara and had taken a vow to visit the temple on foot. "After receiving the clean chit in the case, our family and members of the Jagruti family came to fulfil that vow," she said.
