Hyderabad, March 19 -- Telangana Jagruthi celebrated Ugadi with traditional fervour at its office in Banjara Hills on Thursday, marking the beginning of Sri Parabhava Nama Samvatsaram.
The programme began with Panchanga Sravanam by Vedic scholars, invoking blessings for prosperity.
On the occasion, Jagruthi President K Kavitha outlined her vision of a "Social Telangana and Sarvodaya Telangana," emphasising inclusive growth for all sections of society.
She unveiled the "Jagruthi People's Budget 2026-27" with a proposed outlay of Rs 2.15 lakh crore, focusing on people-centric development.
