Hyderabad, June 29 -- Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) President K Kavitha on Monday raised serious concerns over the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, alleging the presence of thousands of duplicate and inter-state voters in Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's Kodangal Assembly constituency and demanding greater transparency in the exercise.
Addressing a press conference at the TRS office in Banjara Hills, Kavitha claimed that while more than 7,000 votes were deleted in Bodhan over the past one-and-a-half years, only 808 votes were removed in Kodangal, raising doubts over the revision process.
