Hyderabad, Feb. 15 -- Telangana Jagruti president Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Sunday participated in the 287th birth anniversary celebrations of Sant Sevalal Maharaj at the Telangana Jagruti office in Banjara Hills and extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Sevalal Jayanti and Maha Shivaratri.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha described Sant Sevalal Maharaj as not only a spiritual guru but also a social reformer who guided society on righteous living and fought for the dignity and welfare of the Banjara community.
She demanded that Sevalal Maharaj's life and teachings be included in textbooks across the country and called for inclusion of the Gor Bhoji language in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
