Hyderabad, June 27 -- Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) President K. Kavitha on Saturday called for a massive nationwide movement to ensure the immediate implementation of the Women's Reservation Bill, including a large public meeting at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.
Addressing a meeting on women's reservation organised by the NCRW at Mukdoom Bhavan in Himayatnagar, Kavitha urged women to demonstrate their collective strength and declare that they would not vote unless the 33 per cent reservation for women is implemented.
She said she had launched a political party dedicated to women's empowerment and would continue to work to ensure women occupy positions of power.
