Khammam, July 11 -- Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Saturday alleged that the Congress government, Singareni management and recognised trade unions were trying to suppress workers' voices after she and Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS) leaders were stopped from interacting with employees at the JVR Open Cast Project (OCP) in Sathupalli of Khammam district.
As part of the Baai Baata programme, Kavitha, accompanied by HMS and TRS leaders, reached the JVR OCP despite police deployment and restrictions imposed by the Singareni management. She alleged that workers had been sent inside the premises to prevent them from meeting the visiting leaders.
