Srinagar, Dec. 1 -- Kashmir witnessed a marginal rise in night temperatures on Monday, but the Valley remained in the grip of a harsh cold wave as sub-zero conditions persisted across the region.

The Meteorological Department has predicted mainly dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir over the next 24 hours, with only a slight possibility of very light rain or snow at one or two high-altitude locations.
