Srinagar, Nov. 27 -- Cold continues to maintain its grip over the Kashmir with Srinagar recording the coldest night of the season at -4.4degC, the Meteorological Department said.
Several places in south and north Kashmir witnessed severe sub-zero conditions.
The tourist resort of Pahalgam in Anantnag district was the coldest among the Valley's major stations.
Srinagar recorded a low of -4.4degC. while Qazigund settled at -4.0degC. Pahalgam was the coldest among the major stations at -5.0degC, followed by Kupwara at -4.4degC. Kokernag registered -1.6degC and the famous ski resort of Gulmarg recorded -1.0degC, the Meteorological Department said.
