Bengaluru, Sept. 11 -- The Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) recruitment has erupted into a major political controversy, with the CID probing allegations that KAS posts were allegedly offered for Rs 1 crore to Rs 1.5 crore each, while Home Minister Priyank Kharge challenged the BJP to produce documentary evidence for its allegations.

The allegations relate to the 2023-24 KAS recruitment for 384 posts and have surfaced amid the CID's widening investigation into suspected irregularities in Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) recruitments.
