Bengaluru, May 21 -- Amid the ongoing controversy over alleged question paper leaks andthe uncertainty surrounding medical and professional admissions, the Karnataka government has decided to proceed with the seat allotment process for various courses without waiting for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) related timelines.

The move comes as part of an effort to ensure that the academic calendar is not disrupted and students are not left in prolonged limbo due to delays and administrative bottlenecks in entrance examination processes.
