Bengaluru, June 29 -- Karnataka is set to introduce robotics, coding and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education in government schools, marking a significant shift towards technology-driven learning aimed at preparing students for future careers.

The Department of School Education and Literacy is working on integrating robotics, coding, artificial intelligence and computational thinking into the school curriculum through activity-based and experiential learning, moving away from a purely textbook-oriented approach.
