Bengaluru, Sept. 27 -- Karnataka's electoral-roll battle is moving towards the booth, with senior Congress leader BK Hariprasad signalling that the party will turn the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) into a grassroots campaign rather than confine its opposition to political rhetoric over the Election Commission's exercise.
Hariprasad, addressing a Congress protest here, warned that the BJP could not replicate in Karnataka what he alleged was its strategy in Bihar through the electoral-roll revision, saying the Congress would scrutinise voter deletions and work at the ground level to ensure eligible voters retain their names on the rolls.
