Bengaluru, July 21 -- Karnataka has ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the alleged encroachment of more than 290 acres of government *gomala* land in Bengaluru South taluk by the Art of Living Foundation, its affiliated organisations and other entities, following a court-directed survey that reportedly found *prima facie* evidence of systematic occupation of public land.
A government order issued on Tuesday said the SIT would conduct a comprehensive and impartial investigation into alleged encroachments in Survey No. 46 of Kaggalipura village and adjoining areas, including BM Kaval, Agara and Uttarahalli hobli.
