Chikkaballapura, July 6 -- In a gruesome double murder, a man allegedly slit the throats of his wife and sister-in-law before calmly walking into a police station and surrendering in Karnataka's Chikkaballapura district on Monday.
According to police, the accused confessed to the killings after arriving at the police station, prompting officers to rush to his residence, where they found the two women dead in a pool of blood.
The bodies were shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police immediately arrested the accused and registered a murder case. A forensic team examined the crime scene and collected evidence.
