Bengaluru, April 13 -- Amid a fresh wave of visits by Karnataka Congress MLAs and MLCs to Delhi, senior leaders have sought to firmly downplay speculation of internal discord, insisting that the developments reflect routine political ambition rather than any crisis within the government.

Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that any decision on cabinet reshuffle or restructuring lies entirely with the Congress high command, and that discussions in Delhi are part of an established party practice. He stressed that the leadership in Delhi is fully aware of the ground situation and will decide "when to take a call, how to take a call, and whom to include or drop," adding that such decisions cannot be influenced at the state level.
