Bengaluru, Jan. 25 -- Karnataka Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot has submitted a detailed report to President Droupadi Murmu regarding the events during the joint session of the State Legislature. The session had sparked controversy when the Governor refused to deliver the customary address to the Assembly and Legislative Council.

The report outlines the incidents of January 21 and 22. Governor Gehlot had declined to read the address prepared by the state government, prompting a delegation led by Parliamentary Affairs Minister HK Patil to meet him. Prior to sending the report, the Governor had consulted legal experts.
