Bengaluru, Sept. 7 -- Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has nominated four distinguished individuals to the Karnataka Legislative Council, the state's upper house, as per a gazette notification issued today. These appointments are seen as a strategic move to strengthen legislative processes and bring diverse expertise into the council.
Among the nominees is Dr Arathi Krishna, a well-known NRI activist and chairperson of the Karnataka NRI Forum, who has been instrumental in addressing the concerns of the diaspora.
