Bengaluru, May 26 -- Karnataka Leader of Opposition R Ashoka on Tuesday intensified the BJP's attack on the ruling Congress, alleging that the Siddaramaiah government had entered a "coma stage" as an escalating power struggle within the party crippled governance in the state.

In a sharp political broadside amid growing speculation over a possible leadership change in Karnataka, Ashoka claimed the Congress government was "completely distracted" by the battle for the Chief Minister's post, with senior leaders locked in a supremacy war instead of focusing on administration.
