Bengaluru, May 3 -- Karnataka is staring at a major public transport disruption after the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of state-run transport corporations on Sunday announced an indefinite strike from May 20, escalating pressure on the Congress government over unresolved wage and service-related demands.
If the strike goes ahead, bus services operated by Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and other state transport undertakings could come to a standstill, affecting lakhs of commuters, including daily wage earners, students, office-goers and rural passengers across the state.
