Bengaluru, March 19 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Thursday said the state government will soon lead a delegation to New Delhi to press for the resolution of key interstate water disputes and pending irrigation issues, including the notification of the Krishna Tribunal award.

Speaking to reporters after meetings in the national capital, Shivakumar said he had held discussions with Members of Parliament from Karnataka and outlined issues that need to be raised in Parliament. "All of them have agreed to form a delegation to meet the union government and the Prime Minister. We will fix a date soon and present our case," he said.
