Bengaluru, July 31 -- In a major crackdown on recruitment fraud, the Karnataka Police Recruitment Division has permanently debarred 216 candidates found guilty of malpractice in police recruitment examinations conducted between 2018 and 2022, effectively shutting the doors on their future entry into the State Police Department.

The Recruitment Division has directed the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) not to accept applications or issue hall tickets to the blacklisted candidates for any future police recruitment examinations, including the constable recruitment tests scheduled in August and September.
