Bengaluru, July 8 -- Karnataka has crossed the 80 per cent mark in the distribution of voter enumeration forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with the Election Commission stepping up the exercise to ensure complete coverage before the July 29 deadline.

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) V Anbukkumar on Wednesday said more than four-fifths of the prescribed enumeration forms have already been distributed across the state, including within the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) limits, and expressed confidence that the remaining households would be covered well ahead of schedule.
