Bengaluru, Aug. 17 -- The Karnataka Legislative Council on Monday passed a censure resolution condemning the reported purification of a venue through homa-havan following Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's speech at a public meeting in Uttarakhand, triggering a heated exchange between the ruling Congress and Opposition benches.
Congress member F.H. Jakkappanavar moved the censure resolution, condemning what he described as the public practice of untouchability and seeking an inquiry into the incident.
