Bengaluru, April 13 -- The Karnataka government on Monday approved investment proposals worth Rs 18,430.44 crore, expected to generate employment for about 15,032 people, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said.
Chairing the 67th meeting of the State High-Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC), the Chief Minister said a total of 17 project proposals were cleared, including 11 new investment proposals and six additional or expansion proposals.
He said the 11 new proposals would bring in investments of Rs 14,906.9 crore across various districts, creating around 13,050 jobs, while the six additional investment proposals would attract Rs 3,523.54 crore and generate around 1,982 jobs.
