Bengaluru, May 27 -- Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Wednesday escalated his attack on the ruling Congress, predicting the possibility of early Assembly elections in the state amid what he described as a deepening "internal war for power" within the government.

Vijayendra alleged that the Congress administration is "gripped by factionalism and leadership confusion," claiming that the ongoing power struggle between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has paralysed governance and weakened administrative stability.
