Bengaluru, Jan. 22 -- Karnataka BJP chief Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Thursday criticised the state Congress government accusing it of misusing Governor Thawarchand Gehlot's office to launch attacks on the Central government.

Addressing the media, Vijayendra demanded that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's government allow a joint session of both Houses to function under healthy democratic principles and a positive federal structure, without inserting content in the Governor's address aimed against the Centre.

He lauded the Governor's objection to the state government spreading "false and misleading information" and using it to carry out propaganda against the Central government.
