Bengaluru/New Delhi, April 17 -- Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge today sparked a political row with a sharp swipe at BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, questioning his relevance and contribution to Bengaluru while also mounting a broader attack on the Centre's policies.
"Why do you take that child so seriously? This is already his second stint. What has he done for Bengaluru?" Kharge said, in a remark that quickly drew attention in political circles. He further said that Surya has consistently spoken about a "double-engine government" even as Karnataka has faced "injustice" from the Centre.
