Bengaluru, April 11 -- In a significant development that has exposed the deepening fissures within the ruling Congress in Karnataka, KPCC Minority Department Chairman Abdul Jabbar on Saturday resigned from his post, citing dissatisfaction among minority leaders and alleged sidelining of the community during the Davanagere South by-election.
In his resignation letter addressed to KPCC President and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Jabbar said recent political developments during the bypoll had compelled him to step down.
