New Delhi, June 28 -- Chandni Chowk Nagrik Manch General Secretary Praveen Shankar Kapoor has written to Delhi Mayor Pravesh Wahi and Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar, drawing their attention to the alleged negligence by the civic Delhi body officials in identifying dangerous buildings and taking action against them after conducting a pre-monsoon survey.
Kapoor has sought strict action against the negligent officials, stating that based on the information received the MCD officials have claimed to have completed survey of more than 27 lakh properties prior rains, and then finding just 19 dangerous buildings, is something that clearly reflects alleged criminal negligence.
