New Delhi, July 30 -- The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for commuters in South Delhi as special traffic arrangements come into force for the Kanwar Yatra from July 30 to August 11.
According to the advisory, traffic congestion and diversions are expected on several major roads due to the movement of Kanwariyas and the setting up of Kanwar camps along the routes.
Commuters have been advised to avoid travelling on Outer Ring Road, Ring Road, Mathura Road, M.B. Road, M.G. Road, Aurobindo Marg, J.B. Tito Marg and Lala Lajpat Rai (LBS) Marg during peak Kanwar movement, if possible.
