Kannur, Feb. 28 -- Kerala Minister for Registration and Museums Ramachandran Kadanapally has announced that development projects worth over Rs 1,600 crore have been completed in the Kannur Assembly Constituency over the past decade under the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government.

Addressing a press conference in Kannur on Saturday, the Minister, who also serves as the constituency's MLA, said projects worth Rs 60 crore are scheduled to be launched between March 1 and March 5.

The Lower Bund Bridge at Thazhe Chovva and the first phase of the ecotourism bird centre at Munderikadavu will be inaugurated on March 1. On March 2, the first phase of the city road improvement project along with three town roads will be opened to the public.
