Kangra, April 3 -- Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) Vice Chairman Ajay Verma said that development in the Kangra assembly constituency will be accelerated further, outlining a series of infrastructure and public welfare initiatives.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday at his office at the bus stand, Verma presented details of ongoing and upcoming development works in the constituency. DM Pankaj Chadha was also present on the occasion.
He said that women will now be able to avail 50 per cent fare subsidy in HRTC buses only through the Him Bus Card, stating that the earlier deadline of March 31 has ended, though the cards will continue to be issued. The deadline for school students has been extended till May 31.
