Dharamshala, June 3 -- A district-wide Mega Disaster Management Mock Exercise will be conducted in Kangra district on June 15 as part of the 10th State-Level Mega Mock Exercise being organized across Himachal Pradesh by the State Disaster Management Authority (HPSDMA) in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The exercise, based on disaster scenarios such as earthquakes, cloudbursts, and forest fires, will be conducted simultaneously in various districts of the state to assess preparedness and response mechanisms.
