Dharamshala, July 2 -- Taking serious note of reports of overcrowding in school buses and alleged laxity in observance of safety standards, the District Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Kangra, has sought a detailed compliance report from the Regional Transport Officers (RTOs) of Dharamshala and Dehra.
CWC Chairman Vikramjeet Sharma said the committee has written to both RTOs, urging them to ensure strict enforcement of safety norms governing the operation of school buses across Kangra district.
