Ashok RainaDharamshala, Sept. 9 -- A direct dialogue programme with Below Poverty Line (BPL) families under the "Apna Parivar, Sukhi Parivar" initiative was organised at Lanj in Kangra district on Wednesday, chaired by Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania.
Representatives of various departments apprised residents of government welfare schemes and urged eligible families to apply for inclusion in the BPL list.
Addressing the gathering, Pathania thanked Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for extending the deadline for BPL selection, providing eligible families another opportunity to be included in the list.
