Dharamshala, July 16 -- The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) has launched the second phase of its "Community Mediation Towards a Litigation-Free Rural India" project across the country to promote amicable settlement of disputes at the grassroots level.
District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kangra Secretary R. Mihul Sharma said the initiative aims to ensure speedy and consensual resolution of minor and community disputes in rural areas through dialogue, thereby reducing the growing burden of litigation on courts while strengthening social harmony and improving access to justice.
He said five villages in Kangra district have been selected for implementation of the project.
