Kakinada, June 14 -- The district police deployed drones for surveillance and intensified security measures at NTR Beach on Sunday following a heavy influx of visitors during the weekend.
Police said the beach witnessed large crowds as people from various places thronged the popular tourist destination on the weekend.
Acting on the instructions of District Superintendent of Police Bindu Madhav, police teams deployed modern drones to monitor the beach and surrounding areas and keep watch on suspicious activities.
Teams from the Civil Police, Marine Police and Traffic Police were stationed across the beach to regulate crowds and ensure visitor safety.
