Kozhikode, Oct. 21 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan presented the P V Samy Memorial Industrial and Socio-Cultural award to K Madhavan, Sydney India Strategic advisor and prominent figure in Indian visual media, at a function here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijayan said Madhavan was the most deserving recipient of the prestigious P V Samy award, considering his significant contributions.
He noted that even 35 years after his passing, PV Samy's legacy continues to inspire generations. Samy, who entered the industry through KTC in Kozhikode on his own efforts, laid the foundation for what has now evolved into the State's logistic sector.
