Bhubaneswar, June 24 -- Jyothi Yarraji marked her return from injury in style by winning the 100m hurdles at the National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships 2026 at the Kalinga Stadium here on Wednesday.
Jyothi comfortably surpassed the Athletics Federation of India's (AFI) Asian Games qualifying standard of 13.34s, clocking 13.14s in the heats before dipping below the 13-second mark witha winning run of 12.99 in the final.
India's national record holder in the event with a personal best of 12.78s, Jyothi was competing for the first time since undergoing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery last July.
