Patna, Sept. 13 -- Justice V Kameshwar Rao was today sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court.
Bihar Governor Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd) administered the oath of office to Justice Rao at a ceremony held at Bihar Lok Bhavan here.
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Bihar Legislative Council Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Rural Development and Information and Public Relations Minister Shravan Kumar, former Governors of Sikkim and Meghalaya Ganga Prasad, Advocate General S D Sanjay and Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit were among those present at the ceremony.
