Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 30 -- Supreme Court judge Justice BV Nagarathna on Friday cautioned against growing human-centric attitudes in dealing with nature and stressed the need for an eco-centric approach to resolve human-wildlife conflicts.
Speaking at the Southern Regional Conference on 'Human-Wildlife Conflict & Co-existence: Legal and Policy Perspectives" held at the Kerala Legislative Assembly Hall, she noted that India has historically nurtured a cultural ethos of coexistence with animals, maintaining a precarious balance between humans and nature.
