New Delhi, July 24 -- India's Commonwealth Games campaign has suffered a major setback with Birmingham 2022 silver medallist Tulika Maan being ruled out of the Glasgow Games after receiving a provisional suspension from the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) over alleged whereabouts failures.

Tulika, who won silver in the women's 78kg category at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, was among India's strongest medal hopes in Glasgow. However, she will now miss the event before even travelling with the team.

The development comes a day after another Indian judoka, Arun Kumar (-73kg), was withdrawn from the Games after failing an out-of-competition dope test.
