Shimla, March 15 -- Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on Sunday laid the foundation stone of the Mandi Judicial Court Complex to be constructed at a cost of Rs 152 Cr. in the presence of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.

The modern judicial complex will be built on 9.6 hectares of land and will consist of four blocks aimed at providing improved facilities for judges, lawyers and the general public.

Addressing a legal literacy camp on the occasion, the Chief Justice said that judicial complexes should function like hospitals where people arrive with hope.
