Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 6 -- The Dr. Mangalam Swaminathan Foundation has announced the eight recipients of its National Excellence Awards for 2025, honouring outstanding contributions to national life across journalism, science reporting, art and culture, social service, and public service.
Senior journalists Liz Mathew of The Indian Express, Uzma Athar of Press Trust of India(PTI), and V. S. Rajesh of Kerala Kaumudi are among this year's awardees. Each award carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh along with a memento and a citation.
