Bettiah, July 11 -- Journalist Sameer Vajpayee, a correspondent for a daily newspaper, was killed in a road accident in West Champaran district on Saturday.
Police said here today that the accident occurred near Laxmipur village on the Bettiah-Nawalpur main road under Yogapatti police station area when two motorcycles collided head-on. Sameer Vajpayee was traveling towards Bettiah at the time of the accident. The other motorcycle was carrying Vinod Yadav and Mukhtar Yadav, residents of Chaumukha village, who were returning home from Bettiah.
All three injured persons were admitted at the Yogapatti Community Health Centre from where they were referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Bettiah, for advanced care. Howeve...
